New residential projects that are being built in the Austrian Alps are usually designated for permanent residence purposes or for an obligatory tourist rental. It is almost impossible to find new holiday apartments, cottages or chalets that can be used by their owners as often as they wish. The new project in the town of Aigen, in the valley of the river Enns between Liezen and Schladming, can therefore be described as a big exception.
This new project with six modern buildings with holiday apartments for permanent living or unlimited time use will be developed at a beautiful site directly by the Putterer lake with views of the surrounding Grimming and Stoderzinken mountains.
In this phase, we offer 42 apartments, which will blend in perfectly with the beautiful mountain landscape and will impress both by their location and sensitive architecture using high-quality materials.
Construction is scheduled to start in autumn 2025 and the completion is expected in early 2027.

In the unique landscape of the Enns Valley, sensitive architectural design is a must. The architects of Hohensinn, known for their award-winning buildings in rural areas, have taken on this challenging task. The new buildings are designed to blend harmoniously into their surroundings, without forming an unnatural barrier. You don't have to go far for cross-country skiing. There is an 18 km long trail through Aigen and Irdning, which is an attractive option for classic cross-country skiers and skaters. You can also quickly get to Bad Mitterndorf, which offers wonderful cross-country skiing trails to Ödensee or to Pichl-Kainisch, In the Planneralm and Tauplitzalm you will find cross-country skiing trails with guaranteed snow all winter long. In 45 minutes you can reach one of the best cross-country skiing areas in the world, Ramsau am Dachstein.
If you want to get to know the fantastic mountain landscape around Aigen, there is nothing more beautiful than walking in the Enns Valley and mountain hiking in the Sölktal Nature Park. The offer is varied, ranging from easy hikes for the whole family to high mountain hikes and peak hikes with panoramic views. Other areas that are ideal for mountain hikes include the Bad Aussee area, just a 30-minute drive away, which belongs to the Salzkammergut region, renowned for the beauty of its deep blue lakes and the beauty of the surrounding mountains. The Dachstein massif, with its beautiful hiking trails and cosy mountain huts, is also worth exploring in depth.
The Enns valley is characterised by beautiful scenery, idyllic valleys and villages surrounded by massive mountains, offering countless opportunities for cyclists and mountain bikers. The Ennsradweg cycle path runs along the Enge overlooking the mighty Grimming and offers the opportunity to slowly enjoy the picturesque nature of the region. Mountain bike enthusiasts also have a wide range of opportunities to explore the surrounding countryside and mountains by bike. Mountain bike and BMX enthusiasts can choose from a wide range of routes on the surrounding slopes and mountain ridges.
Those who just want to relax can go to the thermal baths of Grimming (20 km) or the Narzissentherme in Bad Aussee (35 km). Both have heated indoor and outdoor pools, various saunas, salt chambers and relaxation areas.
The area around Aigen offers not only unique scenery, but also a variety of events and culturally interesting excursion destinations. These include Trautenfels Castle, Admont Abbey and many others.
The highlights of the year are certainly the international events such as the Nightrace in Schladming, the ski jumping World Cup at Kulm near Bad Mitterndorf, the Daffodil Festival in Auseerland, the Ennstal Classic, the Nordic Combination World Cup in Ramsau am Dachstein, and countless smaller events in the surrounding villages.
