Thanks to its pleasant climate, plenty of sunshine and crystal clear lakes, Carinthia is Austria's most popular region for summer vacations. At the same time, we must not forget that Carinthia is situated in the Alps and has both three-thousand-foot peaks and renowned ski resorts.
The Rattendorf project is unique in that it offers the best of summer and winter in Carinthia. It lies in the Gail River valley directly on the cycle path, 20 minutes away from the famous Presseggersee and Weissensee lakes. It is also only 2.5 kilometres from the Millennium Express cable car to the Nassfeld ski resort.
This accommodation resort was built in 2019. First, chalets with a total of 45 accommodation units for 4 to 6 people were constructed. Then, in 2021 - 2023, the main building was renovated and extended by 2 floors with 15 new apartments.
The resort is fully operational and can be used 11 months a year (May - April).

Apartments and chalets are available for tourist rental with the option for personal use 4 weeks a year, with a maximum of two weeks during school holidays.

The net rental income (after deducting operational costs and management fees) achieves 5 - 6% of the purchase price per year.
Both the apartments and chalets have been constructed with the use of high-quality materials from local suppliers, with light wood playing the prominent role. The kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms are fully equipped down to the last detail – all you need to bring is your personal things, along with your bike or skis (unless you prefer renting them on site).

Nassfeld is one of the sunniest ski resorts. Thanks to the microclimate, the sun shines 100 hours more in winter than in the northern part of the Alps, so incoming visitors should not forget to pack their sunglasses.
The ski area offers a total of 110 km of slopes of all difficulties and 30 modern lifts.
A skibus stops just 150 metres from the apartment house. During five minutes, you can be in the Austria longest cable car, Millennium Express, taking you to the highest mountain in the resort, Madritschen, at 1,918 metres above sea level.
